Welcome to the fifteenth day. I’ve saved some one of my favourites for the half way mark. Just remember to start and finish with a prayer.

Elder D. Todd Christofferson said, “You and I can put Christ at the center of our lives and become one with Him, as He is one with the Father. We could begin by stripping everything out of our lives and then putting it back together in priority order with the Savior at the center. We would first put in place the things that make it possible always to remember Him—frequent prayer, studying and pondering the scriptures, thoughtful study of apostolic teachings, weekly preparation to partake of the sacrament worthily, Sunday worship, recording and remembering what the Spirit and experience teach us about discipleship”.

President Spencer W. Kimball taught, “To assume, as increasing numbers of people wrongly choose to do, that Jesus was merely another moral teacher—and he was a great moral teacher, the greatest—is to suggest that Jesus merely gave us some helpful guidelines or useful but not particularly significant information for this life. All that Jesus taught is true, including his teachings about his identity, our mortality, and our individual accountability.

I want you to know, as a special witness of the Savior, how close I have felt to Him and to our Heavenly Father as I have made numerous visits to the upper rooms in the temple, going on some days several times by myself, The Lord made it very clear to me what was to be done. We do not expect the people of the world to understand such things, for they will always be quick to assign their own reasons or to discount the divine process of revelation”.

Moroni 7:48 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true followers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure. Amen.

Jacob 4:4 For, for this intent have we written these things, that they may know that we knew of Christ, and we had a hope of his glory many hundred years before his coming; and not only we ourselves had a hope of his glory, but also all the holy prophets which were before us.

5 Behold, they believed in Christ and worshiped the Father in his name, and also we worship the Father in his name.

3 Nephi 11:9 And it came to pass that he stretched forth his hand and spake unto the people, saying:

10 Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.

11 And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning.

12 And it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words the whole multitude fell to the earth…

Alma 11:40 And he shall come into the world to redeem his people; and he shall take upon him the transgressions of those who believe on his name; and these are they that shall have eternal life, and salvation cometh to none else.

2 Nephi 9:10 O how great the goodness of our God, who prepareth a way for our escape from the grasp of this awful monster; yea, that monster, death and hell, which I call the death of the body, and also the death of the spirit.

11 And because of the way of deliverance of our God, the Holy One of Israel, this death, of which I have spoken, which is the temporal, shall deliver up its dead; which death is the grave.

Elder David A. Bednar said, “In a moment of weakness we may cry out, ‘No one knows what it is like. No one understands.’ But the Son of God perfectly knows and understands, for He has felt and borne our individual burdens”.

3.Ponder  (write these answers down if you like)
How do we feel when we think of our relationship with Christ?
What does Christ mean to us?
Why is he so important?
How do we keep him at the forefront of our lives?

(End with a prayer)
